Senior Electrical & Instrumentation (MessRegeltechnik, MessRegeltechnik)

• Master of science/ diploma in electrical engineering or related technical discipline with emphasis on process control
• Minimum of 5 years experience in the chemical/petro-chemical industry
• Comprehensive basic knowledge of measurement, control, automation, energy technology
• Thorough knowledge of the systems Operate IT, Freelance, 800xA, ContronicP.
• Experience in control system design and programming
• Thorough knowledge of project management
• Basic knowledge of procurement
• Basic knowledge of engineering document control
• Excellent people skills - Customer focused
• Ability to supervise and mentor teams
• Fluency in written and spoken German and English are essential
• Some travel required

• Control of operational data and coordinate/execute troubleshooting
• Plan and arrange maintenance, repairs and overhauls to maintain the operational safety and operability of the process control systems; monitor of process control repair and investments, optimize maintenance
• Support planning, execution and commissioning of optimization and investment projects; solicit of quotations for detail engineering; procure of external E&I; develop specifications
• Optimize DCS systems and processes and introduce new technologies
• Communicate regularly with site, business, and engineering leadership to report progress and manage expectations
• Supervise and mentor personnel. Ensure best practices such as engineering procedures, standards, and practices are adhered to and improved upon
• Develop and implement new departmental procedures and standards
